Skill #2. Know When to Ask for Help
We can’t all be experts in everything. Knowing your talents and strengths and utilizing them, while asking for help in areas that you are either less efficient and/or do not enjoy, is a useful skill to know and recognize to help you be happier and more successful in life and in a job.

Skill #3. Utilize The Golden Rule
Treat Others How You Would Like To Be Treated. Who would you rather be around, somebody who is kind and honest? Or someone who is cruel and deceptive. The choice is easy. Kindness and integrity matter in everything.

Skill #4. Develop a Growth Mindset
Having a growth mindset allows us to take personal risks and strive for more stretching goals, enhance brain development, lower stress anxiety and relationships, develop better relationships and achieve higher performance levels. While a fixed mindset is the belief that intelligence and skill are stagnant, a growth mindset is the belief that intelligence and skill can be developed through hard work.

Skill #5. Show Up and Be Present
We’ve all talked to someone who is spending more time on their phone than paying attention to what we have to say. Being present in your daily life, request or tasks that comes up is the key to appreciate all the little things in life that matter the most, and show the people around us that we care.
